Our Story
Caravela IoT is an IoT solution engineering division of Data Holdings. Our skills lie in building secure, high-performance networks, on a small or extremely large scale. In addition to our network prowess, we also help integrate any aspect of an IoT solution to ensure a project’s success.
We work closely with our clients to design solutions that suit their goals, advising on business process improvements, reducing internal and external friction and helping recognize projected ROI.
We’re different because we bring our expertise to any and all aspects of a Smart Cities engagement. We operate our own cloud, make use of open source software to control costs, improve security and avoid vendor lock-in, guiding design of data visualization software or helping utilize software from another vendor. While we’re probably not unique, you’ll be hard-pressed to find the same level of expertise at one organization anywhere else.
